Hmm... There is a first time for everything, in this case, my first attempt at ranting in a blog. Ever since this week started I could tell it was going to be "one of those weeks". This basically means that it is a week in which life drags at a mind numbingly slow rate and you have nothing productive to do at all. I mean come on, someone who is 19, has some fantastic friends, quite a few different forms of entertainment mediums at his disposal and a knack for writing should be able to find something to do right? No. That is the simple answer. The highlight of the week thus far was going into the town to buy some bread I could have bought a lot closer to home, just took the extra trip for something to do. Shopping for bread, somehow I doubt it will be added to the Olympic committee’s list of new sports anytime soon, but I digress.
But apparently it is not just me who wishes this week would buzz off and a new more exiting week would come along. I have spoken to no less than three other people who each rate this week as being the most dull so far this year. Reading other people's blogs on here also seem to confirm this, worries from Uni troubles to money gripes, it all seems to be coming to a head this week. But you never know, something amazing may happen between now and Sunday evening, like winning the lottery or finding out I am related to the Queen or something (that would be funny). But as most people have been saying about this epic week of fail, chin up and shut up lol, because at the end of the day it could be a damn sight worse. Yes, yes it could, but it's bad enough now thank you! Lol, anyway, griping aside, life is good besides the staggering lack of activities. Perhaps I should start practising the keyboard or something...
See you for now folks!
Dave.

Hiya,
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm also a Uni student worry about... EVERYTHING... Some days it seems the world is against you. You feel lost. But other days, in the same situation you overcome the circumstances and make clear your way till the next time comes.
Bads days let us know how great good days are.
Theres no white if there is no black.
Lovely first post, I hope to read you soon again.
Belu
Thanks a lot! Yeah you definately right about that, good days look all the better with a decent period of gloom and misery preceeding it! lol.
