Okay let me start off by saying that I do not care if this blog entry is read by anyone... but I needed somewhere to vent!! Elections in the UK recently to decide who should represent us in the EU... well that turned out well, NOT!
I went to vote as thousands of people did and when I looked at that ballot paper I found myself physically glaring at a few parties... namely UKIP and the BNP. But as I selected the party I wanted to vote for (not that there is a fantastic party out there) I thought in my mind that all will be well... because those idiots will never get in. The British public are intelligent and would not vote for people like those. The majority of people are open minded and accepting people... But then I hear the news that the BNP have been given two seats!! Alright, not exactly a huge amount but who knows, that number may increase, or those two nutjobs who represent us may accidentally piss off a delegate from a big country... Why should one person care about politics so much? Well the truth is I did not think of myself as interested in politics but the BNP are hard to ignore... not to hate though.
I have lost faith in the British public... why even give people like the BNP an opening. Then there is all the other business of claiming money for things as stupid as dog food and toilet seat repairs (here's looking at you Prescott, who is from my town I am ashamed to say). Plus cash for honours a while back... why the hell is the Political System in this country so flaming terrible? I cannot even begin to describe how angry I am right now... I feel bigger and worse things are yet to come.
Sorry to anyone who reads this one sided argument but hey, it's my blog and I am going to vent!! Haha. Ah well, if you did read this, thanks, and let me know what you think, I enjoy debate with people... but anyway.
